Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. “In light of the new video released today, we have made the decision not to pursue a new season of The Bachelorette at this time and our focus is on supporting the family,” a statement from Disney Entertainment said.

After silently enduring years of extensive mental and physical abuse, as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally finding the strength to confront her accuser and take steps to ensure that she and her children are safe from any further harm.”
Taylor’s statement continued, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they live with aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to admit and share her story.”
