Below Deck Season 4 Episode 8 Recap

welcome back, below deck below below Fans! Last week, Jenna completely moved on from Eddie. Similarly, Mike moved forward with his tasks, even when they were not completely finished (or not even really started). Similarly, Ben’s oven was still on ice. So, what better time than now to board a four-day charter complete with vow renewal? Here’s what happened in BDDU Season 4 Episode 8.

What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 8?

Jenna makes a cleanliness-related mistake at the beginning of the charter, which leads to a bad first impression for her guests. There is pressure in the galley below. Ben feels it, as does Ellie. But when Ben keeps calling Ellie everything but her real name, Ellie eventually shuts down, and now, Captain Jason has no choice but to intervene.

Jenna is drunk, but her words are clear. She turns Eddy off and an unsuspecting Betual takes a nap beside him. When their Sprinter van finally reaches the ferry, João kisses Daisy’s hand as he helps her out. Later he messages Daisy asking if she wants to join him for a glass of wine.

But Daisy is very tired. Outside, an intoxicated Eddie lies near the hot tub, hoping for the others to join him. Sadly for him, everyone except Jenna and Ben head off to their cabins.

Eddie eventually gives up, but then he sees Jenna and Ben getting comfortable with each other. Eventually Eddy got it. He “messed it up.” Daisy does the same, because Ellie has just joined Joao for that glass of wine.

But Ellie just wants advice. Ben keeps calling her “honey” and “baby” instead of Ellie. “Tell him you don’t like it,” suggests João.

In the morning, Ben leaves Ellie to clean up while he takes a dip in the ocean. Ellie is disappointed, which Daisy confirms, just as their new oven finally arrives. Soon, their next group of guests will arrive, who will stay on the ship for four long days.

They’re from my hometown Tampa. Please, don’t let them suck… but, luckily for all of us, Clay and Mark are delightful. And they will also renew their vows during their charter.

Ben and Ellie are sitting. Ellie, trying to control Ben’s emotions, only voices one of her complaints. She is tired of working alone while he does his own thing. Ben apologizes.

Joao and Daisy talk about their post-charter plans. As they flirt, Joao admits that he has never dated an Irish girl, while Daisy admits that she only likes “dickheads”. However, his smile says more than his words. They are completely engrossed in each other.

But Alessia is not in favor of changing her assigned cabin. Instead, he concentrates on folding towels. The guests board the ship, but once the yacht leaves the dock, the guests discover Necia sticking a “cat liner” inside her cabinet, which Jenna somehow did not see.

Downstairs, Ben says his millionth “sweetie pie”, and now, Ellie is ready to blow. Outside, guest Christina is walking on a platform attached to the yacht. When she tries to climb back on deck, Eddie offers her his hand, but Christina says, “No.” Then she slips and hits her head.

Captain Jason checks on Christina and gives her a bag of ice. Luckily all is well.

Tonight is based on Pride Night theme. The guests look fantastic. But in the galley, Ben is still calling Ellie everything but her real name. Still, everything is running without any noticeable hiccups.

The next morning, Mike asks Ben for an omelet. Alessia pulls Mike aside and warns him to never ask Ben for anything during this extended charter. Cold. This week the two women are trying to manage Ben’s emotions.

But then, gossipy Mike makes an appearance again. He angrily goes back to the galley and tells Ben everything Alessia said. Mike then goes to Alessia and tells her how to behave, but as Ben realizes and explains to Mike, “She was helping.”

Alessia points to Daisy. Daisy is also on his side, as is Ben. “Next time, come to me,” Daisy instructs. Daisy finds Mike, who explains that Alessia used a mean tone, which, no, but since Daisy wasn’t there, she can only repeat what Alessia said, which is, “Don’t ask the chef for anything.”

Co-primary Mark shares his coming out story with Bethuel. In her homeland, “gay marriage is not legal.” He is very grateful to sailing, which “educated” him. I love Betual, and so does Mark.

The guests are running out of toilet paper. In his talking head, Mike blames Alessia. But Daisy blames her stews just as much.

In the galley, Ellie tells Ben to “take a breather.” She thinks, he is very upset. But “dinner’s in half an hour,” so, no, Ben replies. Ellie sighs, and then she tells Ben that she needs to talk to him more professionally.

Ellie argues, “I’ll never get that again.” Ben asks, “How did I talk to you, honey?” And then Ellie lets Ben loose by telling him that she has names for all of her little pets. When their guests sit down for dinner they continue to argue about everything under the sun.

Ellie says, “I’ll go to the Captain. I don’t complain.” She then walks around the yacht angrily, right in front of her guests, until she finds him. “Captain, what just happened in the galley is unacceptable,” she says as the credits roll in another episode of BDDU.
