After a night out, Amanda opted to hang out with some of the housemates instead of Kyle. Kyle took offense and began to accelerate. West was there to talk to both sides as emotions ran high.
West Wilson felt “uncomfortable” when he heard Kyle Cooke’s words
West appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live to comment on the fight, and why he felt an obligation to get involved.
“It was a tough time,” host Andy Cohen said. “At what point did you feel like you needed to get involved?”
West responded, “Generally, at least with couples, I feel like there’s always things you didn’t know about before. So you stay away from it. But that, I felt like I was there in the moment when it started. And it was just inappropriate. And so I felt like, this was my place.”
Fans were surprised by how lost Amanda looked. She questioned what was the point of discussing this issue with her husband. However, backstage, she made West cry while sharing her feelings.
Andy questioned whether West saw anything while watching the episode that he did not see at the time. He said, “You were telling me before the show that you had heard only a part of the conversation. What was new to you in it?”
West said of the derogatory phrase used by Kyle against his wife, “I mean it makes me somewhat uncomfortable like even saying it out loud. The comment that he made. And obviously I think everybody knows I’m not the most active, angry person. But if I had heard it, maybe it would have been a little different as well.”
