Iran has reportedly sent a list of demands to Donald Trump
According to a NewsNation report, America has received a list of demands from Iran after Donald Trump sent a 15-point peace plan.
The reporter suggested that if Iran and the US meet for talks, “Iran’s president has said that one of the things we need will be security guarantees, assurances that war will not resume.”
It also lists the demands made by Iran, which are as follows:
- Compensation for wartime damage.
- Formal control of the Strait of Hormuz.
- No ballistic missile program limits.
- Guarantee against future military actions.
Based on a report by time magazineOne of the conditions of the US President’s 15-point peace plan is that Iran stop its nuclear program. It further states that America has asked Iran to stop efforts to make nuclear weapons in the future. On the other hand, Trump also spoke to reporters on Monday, in which he stressed, “They very much want to make a deal. We would also like to make a deal.” However, if the talks are not successful, he said the US will “keep bombing our little hearts” (via USA Today).
Recently, Trump also claimed that he has received a gift from Iran, which is ‘important’. He also claimed that the gift was not related to nuclear energy but “to oil and gas.” Trump also said that he was talking to the right people. However, according to a report al JazeeraIranian spokesman Ebrahim Zolfkari has denied any negotiations and said, “Has the level of your internal conflict reached the level of negotiating with yourself? Do not call your failure a compromise.”
