Say hello to the newest peacemaker in town, who also happens to be a newlywed.
Angela Oakley also talked to husband Charles about RHOA rumors
In a sneak peek of RHOA Season 17 Episode 1, K. Michelle made her grand debut in conversation with longtime campaigner Porsha Williams. Through the magic of reality TV, they get to know each other, and she joins the group as K. There is going to be a bridge for Michelle.
In the preview, Porsha says she is planning a get together for the cast as a way to recover from the last group event, also known as the Season 16 reunion. This will be K’s first introduction to the group, so Porsha gives her the lowdown on everyone, including her “former best friend,” Shamia Morton.
During their chat, Kay revealed that she was married just a few weeks before she went on camera. Her new boyfriend is a dentist, and apparently, he makes her very happy. They exchanged vows in court, so she’s a new “Housewife” in every sense of the word. Meanwhile, Porsha is recently divorced and is ready to start dating.
Elsewhere in a sneak peek at Episode 1, we check out Angela Oakley and her husband, Charles Oakley. During her rookie RHOA season, Charles faced some dangerous infidelity allegations. This year, Angela said she’s not getting caught up in any of that. She said they are “stronger than ever” and she will make sure they stay that way.
“I’m not shutting down another rumor, so whatever rumor you have about Charles, Angela, she won’t give a fuck this year,” Angela said.
There’s a housewife who is newly married, another who is newly divorced, and one who is working to keep her marriage strong. There’s going to be a little bit of everything in Season 17, and it can’t come soon enough.
