Robert Pattinson shares his audition story that left everyone ‘hurt’
Robert Pattinson recalls his worst audition story on Entertainment Weekly’s “Lies vs. Lies.” “The worst audition story was pretending to carry a heavy rock from one side of the room to the other in your underpants,” he said. Her The Drama co-star immediately dismissed the story as “true.” The Euphoria alum asked, “Do you know how I knew it was true?” To which Pattinson responded, “I already told you.”
Pattinson further explained, “It was for 300 (the epic historical action film released in 2006). All the people in England were doing it, and everyone looked absolutely shocked, and not a single person got the job.”
Zendaya later clarified that there’s no reason to take anything Pattinson says lightly. She commented, “Rob irritates me, because you have so many crazy stories. I know some of them are true, because I’ve heard you tell them over and over again to other people, exactly the same. It feels like it’s true. It’s not like he exaggerates it every time” (via Entertainment Weekly).
However, apart from questions like truth vs lies, the two also had to handle some awkward relationship questions. Pattinson and Zendaya were guests on a French news channel, where they were asked a strange question related to their relationship.
The French reporter asked whether the couple’s respective partners were jealous of the extensive time they spent together while promoting their film. Both rejected talk of jealousy replied Laughing, “I don’t think they are at all!”
For those unaware, Pattinson has been in a long-term relationship with English singer-actress Suki Waterhouse. The couple has a daughter. Zendaya, on the other hand, is reportedly married to her Spider-Man co-star, Tom Holland. However, there is no official confirmation from their side yet.
