Vanderpump Rules Alum Katie Maloney Have been away from reality TV for almost three years. Although she felt “a little shocked” at the end of Pump Rules, she is coming back to reality.
Although they were originally close, Katie had a slight falling out with Stassi Schroeder after Stassi was fired. But the recent trailer for Stassi’s new Hulu show House of Stassi revealed that Katie has finished filming for the new show.
On May 4, Katie was a guest on the Humble Brag Podcast. He talked about his VPR experience and how he was “forced” to do certain things on reality TV.

“The last thing I filmed was in 2023,” Katie shared. “It’s been really nice to live a soft life with no one in my business. (I) don’t have to be friends with people I don’t want to be friends with… including my ex-girlfriend.”
She added, “I don’t hate (Tom Schwartz), but we needed that kind of separation from each other.” “(Filming reality TV) on a different network, it… has a different life to it. I’m happy to be back there.”
She further added that House of Stussy “(picked up) our lives from where they are now… (her life) is very family-oriented, her sister, her husband, her kids, some of her best friends, and then me.”
“It really … (documents) a path back to friendship at this stage of life that is very different,” he said. “We’re on very different life paths right now. He’s… married, has two kids. I’m divorced, and, you know, I’ve been dating someone else recently, but it’s been really wonderful.”
House of Stacy premieres July 29 on Freeform. The entire season will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ the following day, Thursday, July 30.
