What happened on Southern Hospitality Season 4 Episode 11?

The episode starts from where we left off last time. Michaels and the others are walking back from the church, and Michaels is enjoying a new sense of peace.

But that doesn’t last long. The group is getting ready for Maddie’s show and one last dinner before their last hurrah in Punta Cana. Before leaving for dinner, we see various couples supporting each other.

Maddie is nervous about her schedule. Joe is doing everything he can to support her and keep her calm. Meanwhile, Justin is talking to Charlie on the phone. Immediately after he puts her down, he says, “I love you,” so she can’t hear. But he thinks he loves her.

And finally, Brad and Julia are also getting ready for their night out. They talk a bit about Amy and her issues. Brad is ready to let it go. Julia supports his decision. It’s good to see them there with each other.

Love is definitely love in the Dominican Republic.

The final meal for the group is themed Under the Sea. Michaels asks Maddie if she has talked to Grace yet, and she says she hasn’t. However, she thinks Grace is making the right move, and she wishes her the best. Who congratulates his girlfriend for her upcoming event and this very special trip.

Meanwhile, Michaels shared his church experience. It was nice to see her reconnect with her past and find a kind of release through crying and prayer.

Amy took this moment to mention that she was not invited. Michaels explained that he took those closest to him with him and supported him on his journey. She looks angry. Strange.

Eventually, Michaels explained to her that he felt she was over him, and he was not in a place where he wanted to remain silent. Amy asks Michaels if he thinks she’s a terrible friend.

Uh-oh, it’s a can of worms.

Mia tells Amy that she needs to take accountability for the things she said and the words she used, like “stalking, bullying, etc.” Mia says she has heard the story that Emmy told the others.

Amy tries to take back everything she said about Brad, “banging the door”, him being “naked in the bathroom” or “stalking”. But whatever’s done is done.

Brad told her that she had said such derogatory things about him that it even made him cry. Emmy tries to apologize, but she can’t even say what she’s sorry about.

In the end, Brad says he wants to co-exist with her because that’s all he’ll get right now. She agreed and said that she was sorry again, but she is very emotional and reacts in a certain way. Michaels intervenes here and says that’s no excuse. Amy always only thinks about what Amy needs.

Even when they talked, she would make everything about herself. As if on cue, Amy starts sobbing. Eventually, TJ tells Michaels that he has to let him talk, because he can’t tell everyone else to try to be open but not do it.

So, Michaels lets Amy talk, but he doesn’t realize why she’s so upset with him. Amy is trying to say that she loves Michaels, but it doesn’t seem sincere.

The whole conversation is turning into something almost ridiculous. Maddie is nervous about the cat while Emmy is opening her heart up (sort of).

Meanwhile, everyone tells Michaels that he’s being a little vague about why he’s upset, and that maybe Amy doesn’t understand what he means. Mia asks him to stay with her directly.

Eventually, they stop. Amy goes for a walk with Jo. She feels like a victim (of course) and says that if only her fiancé Will had been there, he would have destroyed everyone. Very good.

The crew realizes it is time for Maddie’s show and head back to the resort. There are already a lot of people there, and the atmosphere is immaculate. It’s everything Maddie hoped for and more.

Once she gets on deck, she kills him. She’s clearly in her element and having the best time. Maddie is doing great and couldn’t have asked for a better comeback. The crowd is liking it.

Except Amy. She is trying to support Maddie, but she is too upset and leaves. Mauli decides to investigate him. Molly knows what it’s like to feel Michaels’ anger because he also yelled at her. They bond over this, and Molly opens up about how hurt she felt.

Amy watches a revelation and tells him that Michaels was involved in his firing, even though he said he had nothing to do with it. Molly is mad, but she feels vindicated. Amy says she knows what it’s like to be gaslit, so she needs to be honest.

However, once again, it feels like Amy was only honest when it served her. He had plenty of time to tell Mauli, but he chose this right time to come clean?

The event is a huge success and signals the end of the Punta Cana void!

Everyone is back home. TJ and Justin call their mom. Justin is very close to his mother, and he tells her about Charlie and how he thinks she could be the one. His mom is very excited for him and can’t wait to meet him.

The crew is back at work and getting ready for another fun-filled night. Joe is in full Joy Bottle mode and working the door. He is working on it. It seems like he’s inspired by Maddie’s success and motivated to keep doing what he does best. He tells Leva that he has a new flame.

We also see that, for the most part, Leva is unaware of all the drama taking place. Michaels has tried to keep the drama away from her all summer because she feels that personal problems and work should not mix. It makes sense, but it’s not certain whether Leyva would like to be kept in the dark.

Meanwhile, Joe and Maddie head to Zach’s dike to meet his friend, who is doing a show there. Surprise, it’s Eli Leuber!

Grace is there too, reading tarot cards. Maddie and Joe didn’t realize she would be there. This is a bit strange. Grace asks Maddie if they can talk for a while, and they go outside.

Grace apologizes for what happened at Molly’s house during Girls and Guys Night. She tells Maddie that she is getting help and is in AA now. Maddie is happy for her, but she learns that Grace has just recently fallen ill again. Maddie says Grace is always on a healing journey but never seems to reach any destination.

Grace denies everything Maddie said and will not take accountability for her recent actions. In the end, nothing was resolved and they decided to end the conversation.

It seems that some injuries do not heal quickly. Is there still hope? We’ll find out next week!
