Andy Cohen explains why Bravo won’t expand The Real Housewives to St. Louis

St. Louis is not on the radar of the Real Housewives franchise. In an interview with KMOV, Andy explained why it probably wasn’t going to happen.

“I can’t imagine how upsetting it would be for my mom, dad, sister (and) all the people I know to be like, ‘Oh, so-and-so auditioned,'” Andy said. Andy spent his childhood in St. Louis before relocating to New York City.

There’s a lot of drama for Andy to deal with right now. The Real Housewives shows take place in various locations across the US, including Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Salt Lake City, Miami and Dallas. He says that if another series were added to St. Louis, that drama would be “many times more than if it was in my hometown.”

As for Andy, she already has a lot on her plate, not only with her various shows but in her personal life as well. The Watch What Happens Live host has two young children, welcoming one, Ben, via surrogate in 2019.

The latest Real Housewives series to come out is The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. That show has received a lot of backlash, much of it focused on Rosie DiMare.

This week she defended herself on WWHL after calling Kelsey Swanson a “slam pig.” This is a New England term for someone you don’t like. Rosie says Kelsey fits the description to a T.
