In episode 3 – titled: “Mimosas and Mayhem” – Amanda and Kyle’s marriage continues to unravel. Speaking of which, as part of their trial separation, Amanda rented a new apartment, which she invited Summer House stars Ciara and West to move in with her. Elsewhere in the Summer House alumni world, Danielle and Lindsay try to bury their beef. Here’s how it all went down…

In the opening scene of episode 3, Amanda meets her Summer House co-stars, Ciara and West, at the site of their new apartment. She rented the apartment as part of her trial separation from Kyle, which was introduced in last week’s episode.

“We are not legally separated,” Amanda explained to the couple about her and Kylie’s marriage. West then asked her what she was hoping to “get out” of being apart. On this, Amanda said that she and Kyle were “very content” in their marriage. However, she then argued that the pair were “not single” or “dating other people” during this time. “The point of it is to get back to who we are,” he explained.

In a confessional, Amanda commented on her hangout with Ciara and West. She said, “West and I became really good friends this summer; he was with me during all the Kyle stuff.” “Recently, Ciara and West have also become best friends again, so I have the perfect little trio.” famous last Words.

Reminder: In the City was filmed in late 2025, a few months before Scamanda came to light. Amanda and Kyle officially announced their separation in February this year, and a month later, Amanda and West confirmed their romance… the timeline of which is still in doubt.

In a flash-forward confessional filmed on May 5 this year (stay with me here!), producers asked Amanda about her shocking romance with West… especially considering she called Ciara her “bestie” in a previous scene when the three of them met.

“How did you feel about that scene when you filmed it?” The producer said. “Was there a feeling of a crush?”

“No, it was my friend,” Amanda replied firmly about West. “I know what people will think when they see this scene. It’s weird, but in this moment, these are my friends, these are two very important people to me.” Whatever you say, Mandy.

After meeting Frank (AKA the Milkman) in last week’s episode, Lindsay meets with him for a one-on-one date.

“This is my second date since the break-up,” Lindsay revealed in a confessional, with a time stamp reminding viewers that she had split with the father of her child eight months earlier. “Fortunately, Frank appeared out of nowhere,” she said, before clarifying that she was “not looking for a partner at all.”

Lindsay stated her intentions, saying, “I just want to laugh, drink, have fun… and then kick it at home.” “If my fanny is fluttering and I’m tingling down there, that’s what I’m looking for.”

As for Frank’s, err, ability to flutter? “Not kidding, but I think Frank is very attractive. He just feels like a guy,” she said.

Lindsay and Danielle face off

After a few rough months, which included claims of Uber ride hand jobs and shady baby daddy jabs, former friends Lindsay and Danielle meet for lunch to try to mend things.

After accusing Danielle of “ruining” very important moments of her life, Lindsay said her intention for the lunch was to explain to her ex-BFF why she “doesn’t feel shy anymore.” Meanwhile, Danielle hoped that her and Lindsay’s shared history would be enough to save the friendship. Mimosa is ready…

Ultimately, Danielle apologized for hurting Lindsay’s feelings with what she said, which Lindsay accepted and “appreciated.” Maybe it was a sign of things to come, as the pair ended the lunch by agreeing to take “baby steps” to further their friendship.

At a brunch soon afterward (more on this in a second), the group quizzed the couple about their “status,” surprised to see them getting along so well. “We’ll see where it goes,” Lindsay replied, while Yvonne spoke of that friendship, comparing Danielle to a cat with “nine lives.”

There was a clash in the group over lunch.

Just moments after meeting for lunch with the rest of the cast, Danielle found herself on the hot seat again. Kyle asked her if she would apologize to Amanda, like she did to Lindsay. Why? Queue: A collection of Amanda vs. Danielle moments from several seasons of Summer House (and unseen In the City footage).

“Amanda and I have a long history,” Danielle explained in a confessional. But there was never any rift between Amanda and me. It’s always someone else’s issue, and she’s happy to get on the ‘Daniel bashing train.'”

As Amanda and Danielle hit it off, Kenny turns the conversation to Lindsay and how her relationships affect others. Queue: Another montage, this time of Lindsay and her “minions.”

“I’m not recruiting people,” Lindsay told Kenny in response to the label. “They’re not henchmen, they’re friends.” On top of that, Kenny described Lindsay as a “bad girl team” and then even asked her: “Are you on glue?”

As Lindsay and Kenny argue over whether she runs the “Mean Girl Crew”, the conversation turns to whether Whitney is able to crack said crew since moving to New York. “I’m not used to this kind of nonsense, and if I didn’t want to be one of Lindsay’s henchmen, would I fit in with the girls?” He confessed.

Kenny then suggested in a confessional that at some point “the minions will rebel”, while back at the brunch, Amanda led the chant of “opinions not minions”.

But perhaps Lindsay should have been the least of Whitney’s worries. Later in the episode, she meets Lexie and Georgina for coffee and learns that Kenny is “unsure if there’s a spark between them”. No spark? Didn’t she move across the country to be with him? Okay, Kenny.

“It’s hard to believe,” Whitney said, shocked by the revelation. Recalling a previous relationship during the confessional, Whitney explained that the situation was “exasperating” and that she felt as if she was “not enough.” Poor Whitney!

In the final scenes of episode 3, Amanda tells Kyle that she has finally found herself an apartment. The only catch? This is a one year lease.

Given that the pair had discussed a trial separation — as in temporarily, not forever, not for a full year — Kyle was naturally taken aback. He said of the news, “I’m trying to keep an open mind, but I feel like this is much more certain.” “It doesn’t feel temporary anymore. It feels permanent.” Kyle, buddy, you never know what’s going to happen…

in the city Continues Tuesday nights at 9PM ET/PT on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
