The news of their divorce came as a surprise, as the couple has always kept their relationship public. Most recently, the country musician and his podcaster wife enjoyed plenty of PDA at the Grammy Awards in February. They posed together on the red carpet and even shared a kiss. In fact, Roll won for “Best Contemporary Country Album”.
The 41-year-old thanked his wife with a heartfelt speech. “I want to thank my beautiful wife. Without you I would never have been able to turn my life around,” Roll shared. He added, “I would have been dead or in jail. If it weren’t for you and Jesus I would have killed myself. I thank you for that.”
Interestingly, just hours before the divorce news became public, the 46-year-old podcaster shared a series of cryptic Instagram Stories. Xo posted a photo of herself wearing lingerie. Notably, Roll and Zoe met at one of his concerts at the Country Salon in Las Vegas in 2015. The “Wild Ones” hitmaker proposed to his girlfriend on stage in Las Vegas in 2016. That same evening, the pair were secretly married in a courthouse ceremony after dating for a year. Now the former couple have renewed their wedding vows in 2023.
