It is the finale of the Fall 2026 season of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week. Earlier this week, the fashion pack looked to Daniel Rosebery at Schiaparelli to kick things into high gear. Inspired by the sea, Roseberry’s lineup was a feast for the eyes: inflatable tentacles, jelly-like molded silicone bustiers, and unique materials including seashells and fish scales. For his second fashion outing at Christian Dior, Jonathan Anderson drew on the work of American artist Linda Benglis and her dramatic pleat pleating, distorted draping and sculptural forms in unconventionally mixed materials.
Names like Catherine Deneuve and Lupita Nyong’o came to sit front row at Chanel. Pastel-hued beaded gowns, tweed suits, feather-lined jackets and whimsical accessories were on good display for Mathieu Blazy’s second couture offering as creative director of the famed French fashion house. Silvana Armani’s Giorgio Armani Privé collection was a masterclass in glamour, sophistication and elegance. Pierpaolo Piccioli updated the signature house codes with an urban modern edge for his inaugural Balenciaga couture collection.
