Thankfully, a rep for Ashley has already addressed this rumor, so let’s recap the mess and get to the bottom of this drama.
Ashley Tisdale wrote a blog about “toxic” mom groups
Ashley has touched on her former “toxic” friend group on two separate occasions. For the first time, he spoke through her personal blogWriting, “Mom groups can be toxic. Not because moms themselves are toxic people, but because the dynamics turn into an ugly place with mean girl behavior.”
Several times later, Ashley published an essay on the same topic. cutHere, he notes how important the relationship was to both him and his two young daughters, As she revealed, one of her friends knew she was looking for these bonds, so they brought her into their friend group, which felt like the perfect match for Ashley, He wrote, “By the time we started gathering to play and group conversations began, I was sure I had found my village,”
But over time, Ashley admitted, “I started to feel left out of the group, I was looking for ways in which they were excluding me.” His icy behavior made Ashley feel like she wasn’t “cool” enough, like she was back in “tenth grade.”
Realizing that she needed to set an example for her two young daughters, Ashley decided to address her so-called mom friends. “So after being left out of another group hang out I sent the same message to the group: ‘This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to participate in it anymore.'”
But then, an anonymous source came forward, questioning Ashley’s words. Reportedly, during last year’s LA wildfires, “several members of the group were affected.” But Ashley “barely checked in.” According to this source, it was Ashley’s behavior that “created an extremely toxic dynamic”.
Hilary Duff’s fans think she and other high-profile names may be involved

Ashley never named anyone in any of his articles. But fans are going to be fans, and in doing so, many people suspected Ashley was talking about Hillary. However, Hillary wasn’t the only famous name they suggested here. According to these internet sleuths, chances are Ashley was talking about Mandy Moore, too.
Mandy and Hillary are still tight. Just last month, the two stars bundled up with their kids and headed down Holiday Road in Calabasas, California. Here, they gazed at the twinkling holiday lights and happily tagged each other online. However, Ashley was notably absent.
Cue fans who pointed out that, shortly after her latest article with The Cut, Ashley unfollowed both Mandy and Hilary on Instagram. As People has also noted, singer Meghan Trainor is also part of this friend group. However, last time we checked, Megan and Ashley were still following each other, so, until we hear otherwise, we’ll mark their friendship as secure.
But what about Hillary and Mandy? Was Ashley talking about them? Could they be the “toxic” mothers in question?
