welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean Fans! Last week, Vee ended her position with Joe. Similarly, Gail leaves the yacht, leaving her future with Nathan in limbo. Now, the fate of the deck crew is also uncertain, as relationships within the team are changing. Here’s what happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 16, “Stricken Nuggets.”
What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 15?
Nathan becomes angry at Max for ignoring several orders on deck. However, Nathan’s problems do not end with Max, as he and Jo are also failing to move on. Joe and Kizzi want what they want, they have to face the consequences. So, now, the tension is spreading in multiple directions, leaving no relationship safe this season.
Max and Joe harass Nathan
Garbage season is upon us, so the deck team has to work quickly. Below, Max is on skis and fighting the waves. Yelling orders from Bow is Nathan, whose instructions are not sitting well with Max. They start yelling at each other within earshot of their guests.
Captain Sandy goes on deck. Nathan needs to manage his team better. Also, Max cannot think when scolded. So Nathan needs to change his team, she instructs.
In his talkative mind, Joe suggests the same things. He also wants Nathan to stop yelling at them. Then, we see Nathan switching gears, giving his team a clear demonstration in the water of how Max should have proceeded.
As their guests enjoy their synchronized dinner service, Joe and Kizzy set out to practice their sensual Spanish dance. V walks around with a stone face.
Joe and Kizzi carry on with their daily routine. Later, Nathan messages Gail. “You’ll be so upset. Joe is back to his old tricks,” he writes, telling Gail that Joe has been flirting with Kizzy “in front of V.” Gail responded, “Poor Vee.”
Kizzy and Vee go on a “weird” excursion
The next morning, Vee throws herself into her work. It’s a solid call, because downstairs, Joe and Kizzy are already up and flirting. Kizzy is going on a tour with the guests, but Joe is not there, and they are disappointed by this.
V walks, working hard. Kizie asks Ayesha if V is fine. Ayesha reminds Kizzy that she didn’t feel guilty about kissing Joe, which was a “really gross” thing to do, let alone accept V. Kizzy rolls her eyes at her confessional.
Outside, Ayesha asks Max about his plans with Kathy after filming. Max admits, “We need to talk about this.” He hopes to give Kathy his “absolute love”. He sings a song, revealing that he wants Kathy to be his “girlfriend”.
In the crew mess, V plans an excursion for his guests. Joe tries to chat with her, but gets only clipped responses. Despite this, V finished his boat trip. So now, he’s just going to “have fun.”
Kizzy and Vee go on their “weird” excursion. Back on the yacht, Nathan tells Joe to tone things down with Kizzy, because “it’s causing too much drama.” The scene cuts back to the excursion, where V and Kizzy are finally talking about their feelings.
Kizzi will never feel regret. And she will explore her feelings for Joe, she candidly admits. Handing it to them, each of them manages to remain calm, eating their gelato as if they’re not solving a season-long problem.
But back on the ship, Nathan tells Ayesha that he plans to get into this mess too. He will talk to Joe soon.
Max makes literal waves
“Save me,” Kizzy texted Joe. He is out to grab everyone. Meanwhile, Max, acting as a palate cleanser for the toxic sailors, brings flowers to Kathy’s cabin.
Kizie tells Ayesha that she and V talked. However, Kizzy is “young and alone”, so what should she do? Ayesha replied hysterically, “Don’t be a little bitch.”
Nathan FaceTimes Gail. He asks her to accompany him to his sister’s wedding. He panics and starts picking up the tape lying on the ground, causing the camera lady to break the fourth wall with her laughter. Gail gives Nathan another unconditional answer.
Max pulls two guests onto a float using the tender. He goes extra fast, so Captain Sandy radios Nathan, asking his bosun to slow down to Max. Nathan tries, but Max refuses, because “you don’t say no” to paying guests. Nathan is “absolutely furious.”
“Dominic” is also Josh’s “inner demon”. Josh is preparing a “four-plate” dinner, but he’s got it so Dominic can “f*ck” himself. Of course, dinner is a hit.
After this, Max hugs Kathy. He attacks her by singing a song, “What Are We?” Kathy likes Max, but she “isn’t ready to have this conversation.”
“Dead Chicken Nuggets” Ruin Everything on Below Deck Med
Joe changes into a form-fitting DJ outfit, which Kizie appreciates. “I’m your biggest fan,” she exclaims, clinging to Joe’s arm. Later, Joe adopts an indifferent attitude towards Vee while talking to Kizzy.
But as Nathan instructs, “It’s probably best if you’re careful when you go out at night. Keep it in your trousers.” Joe and Vee prepare for docking, where they eventually converse. While whipping me, Joe, out of respect for V’s feelings, promised that he would not do anything physical with Kizie.
Guests leave a solid tip of $27,000. The gang goes to a restaurant, where Kizzy and Joe flirt openly. On the ferry, they order more food. But as Max tries to make a girlfriend deal with Kathy, their food arrives, and Joe and Nathan start drunkenly munching on chicken nuggets towards them.
“Raccoon Cathy” is angry. They ruined his food. Max is also angry, because Kathy distracted herself with “dead chicken nuggets”.
