Since Bethenny is a full-time TikToker and beauty influencer these days, she tested out a glass contour tool from Nurse Jamie. It is a small suctioning device made of glass. Come two in a pack, and Bethenny thought it would help to enhance facial contours. Instead, it literally carved out a piece of her face, and now, she and Nurse Jamie are going back and forth about it on social media.
Bethenny vows not to sue nurse Jamie
The Real Housewives of New York alumnus has launched a full-blown feud against Nurse Jamie, the maker of the controversial beauty product that allegedly scarred her face. Thanks to Housewives Hub for capturing all the TikToks and putting them in one post. Truly, it is a blessing.
In the first video, Bethenny explained that she purchased this device for $38 after seeing an influencer post about this torture device. The warning label on the box mentioned the risk of injury, but when he reportedly saw blood flowing into the glass tube, he knew something had gone horribly wrong.
After the incident, Bethenny expected an explanation or at least an apology from Nurse Jamie. This did not happen, which Bethenny described as “reprehensible” and “disgusting.” His fans suggested filing a lawsuit against the company.
In response, Nurse Jamie shared a video claiming he contacted Bethenny. Many times! She also issued a refund on Bethenny’s order. However, Bethenny isn’t worried about that. She just wants forgiveness.
“I will not be suing anyone over the Nurse Jamie Cupping incident for a number of reasons,” Bethenny explained in a follow-up video.
According to Bethenny, she is simply calling the incident “human error.” He compared it to getting hair in the food at a restaurant and believes that accidents are just the price of doing business.
Bethenny explained, “I saw that message in the comments, very direct. No apologies, that’s because people are afraid to litigate people. An apology is an admission of guilt, so the messages were very direct.”
Bethenny said that Jamie’s response seemed “impartial” and lacked “bedside mannerisms”. She is still waiting for that apology.
Bethenny continued, “Unfortunately, now in life, in business and society, people can’t just say sorry because they’re afraid you’re going to sue them, and I, really, am not going to sue them.”
He added, “I believe no one should use that product.”
