First things first – congratulations are in order for the RHORI ladies. This shouldn’t be too surprising considering their blockbuster first season, but Bravo has given them the greenlight to continue the chaos for Season 2. The news came just before filming the reunion for Season 1.
Several Housewives shows are already in production, joining RHORI on the renewal list. This includes Potomac Season 11, Salt Lake City Season 7, New Jersey Season 15, and New York Season 16. Insert one for The Real Housewives of Miami, which is on pause until further notice.
In addition to the renewal announcements, Bravo also confirmed a new series with the working title of Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives. It’s set in the “picture-perfect town” of Boerne, Texas, and everything about the synopsis is screaming Real Housewives.
“Focusing on a close-knit group of glamor women, the series follows their lives as they raise families, run farms and ranches, and manage a spectacular social calendar in a town rooted in rodeo and tradition.”
The summary continued, “However, behind the sophisticated smiles and Sunday sermons, lie intimate relationships and forbidden romances that test loyalties and marriages, threatening the city’s pristine image and proving that perfection is more complicated than anyone could have imagined.”
So far, Bravo hasn’t confirmed that this is a Housewives show, but that description is very much in the works. Either way, we’ll be watching with a bucket of popcorn.
