Charlie revealed her new relationship during the Southern Charm season 11 reunion as she broke the news about the end of her relationship, or whatever it was, with Craig Conover. He did not give any name initially. She simply said that her new boyfriend was from Boston and worked at a club.
It was Sally Carson who said, “She’s on Southern Hospitality.”
Only then did Charlie confirm who it was. “This is Justin Assad, yes.” He didn’t provide any additional details, but Andy Cohen immediately asked Craig if he knew Charlie’s new boyfriend.
“Yeah, I always say hi to him when he comes to the bar,” Craig replied vaguely. These two are clearly holding back, but Andy doesn’t press, although Craig has doubts about the timeline of Charlie and Justin’s relationship.
According to Craig, Austin Kroll told him that Charlie was already talking to someone else while they were hanging out. However, Charlie insisted that she was not seeing anyone else while she was with Craig.
Honestly, Craig being too upset would be like calling the kettle black. She first begins pursuing Charlie amid an awkward love triangle with her friend Sally. But after Craig’s intense attack on Sally, Charlie is done for.
Craig, on the other hand, claims that Charlie sexually assaulted her and insisted that she was talking to someone else (presumably Justin) while they were still going through his things.
Now it’s official, Charlie has moved on. However, only time will tell if this is a better option. Justin has been very clear on recent seasons of Southern Hospitality that he doesn’t want any labels and doesn’t want anything serious. He was in a love triangle of his own, spending every night with Jordan Smith while actively pursuing Mia Alario.
