According to FBI documents recently released by the US Justice Department, POTUS made a call to the Palm Beach Police Department in 2006 to talk about the wrongdoings of a convicted financier and his associate.
document, called a 302revealed that Donald Trump had initially contacted then-Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter, as told by the retired policeman himself. While he shared conversations with the FBI in 2019, his account came to light only after the release of 302.
Technically, Reiter’s name has been removed from the document. However, the timeline of events confirms that it was none other than Michael Reiter who handled the case (via miami herald).
302 claims Trump called Reiter to tell him ‘thank God’ (you) are stopping (Epstein), everyone knows he’s doing that. The businessman-turned-politician also admitted to kicking Jeffrey Epstein out of his Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago. “Trump told him (Reiter) that people in New York knew Epstein was despicable,” the document reads.
Additionally, Donald Trump also tried to shift the limelight in the call onto Ghislaine Maxwell, with Issue 302 noting, “Trump said Maxwell was Epstein’s handler, ‘She’s evil and focus on her.'”
The summary further reads, “Trump told (Reiter) that he was around Epstein once when teenagers were present, and Trump ran away. Trump was one of the first people to call when they found out they were investigating Epstein.”
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has also openly denied any involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
