Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans were surprised when Dorit Kemsley and her hubby, PK Kemsley, announced their separation. Who knew that Erika Jayne was clairvoyant? However, to allege that the duo’s split was just for the cameras seems a stretch. Well, now PK is setting the record straight once and for all.
RHOBH’s PK Kemsley says Dorit Kemsley split is “very real”
In December 2024, Carlos King alleged on his Reality with the King podcast that the couple was manufacturing their separation. Of course, it is crazy to think that someone would “fake” their split to secure a check on a reality TV show.
Recently, PK spoke out about his status with Dorit, and what it’s like watching their split play out on RHOBH. ‘I’m watching it sporadically,” PK told The Daily Mail. “People seem to like it.”
He continued, “Listen, it is what it is. Things are incomplete. Things are not entirely as I’d like them presented. But we made the [bed], so we’re in it, aren’t we?” Well, PK has only been in the show a handful of times this season.
As for where the estranged couple stands? “There’s nothing to update. We’re navigating co-parenting,” PK said. “I’m with them every weekend. They’re with me. We celebrated the birthdays together in the last few weeks. The kids are good.”
He added that their separation is difficult for him, and Dorit. “The show’s on,” he explained, “so it’s very real to us. It was filmed 10 months ago.”
And it doesn’t sound like PK has any interest in being part of RHOBH in the future. He said that he is “pretty done” with filming, and “does not” want to be part of Season 15. That answer is hardly surprising, as PK blames the franchise for souring his marriage to Dorit. “Suddenly, I’m watching my wife be someone who is a completely different person to the person that I met, married, and fell in love with,” he previously stated.
