FBI Director’s personal email compromised

FBI director has become a victim of cyber attack. Kash Patel’s Recently personal e-mails were allegedly compromised. Apparently, a lot of his work and personal correspondence had been hacked over the years.

The group involved in this incident is related to Iran. Multiple reports suggest that the Handala hack team is responsible for this. Donald Trump decided to attack the Middle East nation a few weeks ago, with those working closely with him calling it a necessary move.

You can add Kash Patel’s name to the list of people who have been victims of hacking. A Justice Department official is confirming this reuters FBI Director’s personal e-mail compromised. The news agency says they reviewed much of the content on Kash’s account, which allegedly included commercial and personal messages between 2010 and 2019.

The Handala hack team reportedly uploaded all those e-mails. Although a hack has apparently occurred, it’s unclear what, if any, action is being taken. There are also no details regarding the investigation of the alleged criminals. FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told Reuters they had taken steps to “mitigate the potential risks associated with this activity.”

Since the US attacks on Iran last month, Kash has been one of the first to be part of the public reaction. Kash made a controversial decision by firing a dozen staff members of the federal agency before the airstrike. Many Americans are divided on whether America’s involvement in the Middle East was a smart move.

This latest cyber attack on them comes at a time when the Iran war is still very much in progress. The President claims that successful discussions are taking place, but he has ended that conflict forever.
