It’s a new year, and Well done Coming with a brand new show. But it also includes some familiar faces. Of course, we’re talking about the long-awaited Shahs of Sunset reboot, The Valley: Persian Style!
After taking a break in 2021, Reza Farhan, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, and Golnessa “GG” Gharachedaghi are returning to our screens this week, and they’re bringing some new friends with them.
The Valley: Persian Style to premiere on January 8
We’ve been following rumors about a Shahs of Sunset reboot for years at this point. Reza was the first to bring up the idea, revealing in a 2024 interview that he and some of his Shahs of Sunset castmates were working on a show that would feature “half OGs and half newbies”.
He was not lying. After months of speculation, Bravo finally confirmed that their show has been greenlit. Following the success of The Valley, which features Vanderpump Rules spinoff alumni, the brilliant minds at the network decided to give Shahs of Sunset the same treatment.
As Reza teased in 2024, the two-part premiere of The Valley: Persian Style will re-introduce us to core members of the Shahs of Sunset crew while ushering in a new wave of Bravolebrities. There are a total of 12 actors in this show, so at first you may need a pen and paper to remember them all.
In addition to Jeezy, Mercedes, Reza and their spouses, the full cast includes Tanin Nikpay, Greg Haroutunian, Amir Bouroumand, Natasha Kashanian, Sky Askari, Bamshad Akhbari and Reza Jackson.
While the series synopsis promises to show the Shahs of Sunset OG in their new, mature era, the season 1 trailer teases plenty of drama on the horizon. MJ is delving into major marital issues, and in the trailer, GG is already breaking the fourth wall. We’re here for chaos.
