Jack White criticizes Donald Trump on US dollar decision

Jack White shared a post on Instagram about Trump signing legislation placing his signature on all US banknotes. White’s post was accompanied by a long note. It reads, “Oh, how polite! But why stop there Donnie? Why don’t you use your little hands to sign the law so hard that your orange face appears even on the front of the hundred dollar bill?” He then criticized “Congress and the American people” for letting Trump “do whatever he wants to do” and not holding him accountable.

He added, “Invade Cuba next? Sure! Go ahead, no one can stop you. America gave the most powerful seat in the world to a cunning, manipulative, egotistical thug. But you asked why did America do it? Why is he so great?… Because… he’s so great! He deserves to be treated like a king.”

White then addressed economic issues and claimed that TSA agents are “selling plasma to pay the rent” while the President “takes days off, cheats at golf, and bombs other countries for fun.”

Reflecting on the ongoing Middle East conflict, he wrote, “Gas prices are rising into a world-wide crisis, causing fury in the Middle East; it’s the perfect time to poke fun at Fox’s ‘news’, travel to Graceland, and sign into law your bloated, arrogant signature on all US currency!”

The musician condemned the US dollar’s decision, saying it was “against the law” to devalue the currency.
