Jeff Probst talks about his future without Survivor as host

survivor Without Jeff Probst? Definitely not! But the ubiquitous host of the world’s most famous reality competition show thinks that even without him, Survivor will be just fine. He may be right. However, thankfully he is not planning on going anywhere in the near future.

“I’m telling you right now, I have no thoughts at all about leaving,” Jeff said. E! news. “I love where the show is, and I love our crew. I love the types of people who apply. It’s across every category of ethnic diversity. Everyone is saying this because ‘I see myself reflected and represented on the show, so now I want to be on the show.’ It excites me.”

In 2021, the show changed from a 39-day competition to just over three weeks. This lightened everyone’s burden. “We’re about a third of the way done shooting in the 26-day schedule, and that’s been really positive because the show is coming to an end,” Jeff revealed. “But now it’s possible. It’s still tiring, but it’s possible.”

For now, Jeff isn’t worried about the future of Survivor. He admitted, “I know absolutely 100 percent that the show will go on without me.” “Because that’s the format. The main thing will be who will produce and who will host and what perspective they will bring to it.”

Jeff says that a host is not just the talking head for Survivor, but someone who has a perspective on human behavior. That’s what makes it interesting and that’s what keeps people applying to be on the show and keeps the audience engaged.
