Inmates at a Nashville jail may soon have a new shiny trophy to look at. in an interview with entertainment tonightJelly shares where her second Grammy could go. “I think I’m going to give the county sheriff, Daron Hall, a second chance to put me in jail.”
The reason behind this is related to his past when he experienced some very bad days. Reflecting on that, he said that there was a time in his life when he felt broken. This is how the album Beautifully Broken was born. There was a time when he had a radio the size of a six-by-eight-foot cell, and he believed that these two things could change his life.
Jelly is also no stranger to life behind bars. He spent some time in jail in 2008 for drug possession. He says he believes music and God have the power to change his life. Jelly says he has been in and out of jail about 40 times in his life.
He has gone through a remarkable change not only in his self-esteem but also in his appearance. In October, it was reported that he had lost 200 pounds. After the birth of his daughter in 2008, his outlook towards life changed.
Nowadays, Jelly is happily married to Bunny Bunny has already said that she wants to keep a second Grammy.
