He has voiced his support for Donald in the past, even attending his State of the Union address last month. The President has frequently praised the Paramount Skydance CEO while expressing optimism for the CNN division under David’s leadership.
John has often taken aim at the President on his show. In February, he returned to X to attack Elon Musk, another supporter of Donald Trump. He expressed concern over how social media handles are being run under Elon’s watch. John also mocked Donald’s intention to impose tariffs on trade. The British-born comedian had not been on X for over a year before posting the video.
Under Pitt, the Pentagon has implemented policies restricting press access, leading many news outlets to have their credentials revoked. Despite Pete’s criticisms, CNN stands by its reporting about the Iran war.
