Amaya Espinal, who won “Love Island USA” Season 7, is in stable condition and recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after a dire medical emergency over the weekend.
The Netflix star was rushed to the emergency room after experiencing severe abdominal pain this past weekend. According to TMZ, who was first to report the news, the situation quickly escalated, and she needed to undergo emergency surgery.
Fortunately, doctors are monitoring her condition. Currently, it remains unclear what suddenly caused the reality star’s need for surgery.
Espinal has been in Los Angeles for the past couple of weeks filming Season 2 of the “Love Island” spin-off, “Beyond the Villa.”
Sources told TMZ that the star was not on the set when her symptoms occurred.
Espinal shot to fame after winning the show with her ex, Bryan Arenales, snagging the grand prize of $100,000.
