On December 1, 2025, Steve reports to prison to serve his 24-month sentence. He pleaded guilty to federal crop insurance fraud. It was an emotional time for the entire family. Now, Steven has decided to move in a new direction with a business endeavor: The McBee Podcast.
Steven McBee Jr. has some big plans for his career
When Season 3 of the series premieres soon, Steven will also debut his new girlfriend, influencer Ellie Eklund. The couple announced their relationship in November and it looks like they’re having kittens. In fact, Ally is going to co-host the rebranded podcast with her boyfriend.
The podcast, formerly known as Meet the Maccabees, is being revamped. Steven recently posted some photos of the podcast studio on his Instagram Story. The new set featured white chairs, wooden panels for the walls, and a hanging piece of art.
Steven captioned the story, “Podcast/live-selling studio coming together. Just wait till I get electricity at my place. Not bad for a farm boy.” In another story, he hinted at what he has in store for Maccabi fans. “We are going to go all out with the amount of content we are going to put out in 2026,” he wrote.
The new podcast will be called More Than Maccabee. In an interview on the Like a Farmer podcast, Posted via InstagramSteven discusses the new podcast. “I’m the main part of the podcast right now,” Steven explained. “It was like, hey, we’ve got a lot of synergy here beyond just physical attraction, and there’s a lot of business potential here, and it makes sense for us to come into this podcast, which has been rebranded.”
