She is somehow joining the upcoming Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip. The upcoming special show celebrates 20 years of The Real Housewives and will feature seven iconic Housewives main cast members going on a roadtrip across Housewives cities.
NeNe Leakes to star in Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip
Sources shared that NeNe will be participating in the Atlanta leg of the show. And to say he’s happy with Bravo’s triumphant return would be an understatement.
NeNe shared a reel with the caption, “Confirmed! The Most Delicious Peach is back? Yes, tears, tears y’all.”
“It’s your girl Nene Leakes! Where do I start?” She started. “It’s been a really long journey. I’m so happy to say that I’ll be returning to Bravo! I can’t even believe the words that are coming out of my mouth. I’m so happy.”
He thanked everyone behind the scenes for making it possible, including Andy Cohen and the folks at Bravo, Truly Original and Shared Media.
“So many people have been throwing my name into the ring again and again,” he said gratefully. She also gave a heartfelt thank you to the Housewives who have kept her name intact behind the scenes, like Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks, both of whom have been vocal in supporting her return.
Porsha, one of the show’s lead cast members, commented on Nene’s post and said, “I can’t wait!! ‘Opens’?? 20 years of Housewives now!! Let’s celebrate!”
NeNe was an OG on RHOA but left after season 12. Fans were clamoring for her return, but it was complicated, as she was previously in a legal battle with Bravo. As Porsha said, the door is now open, and NeNe is coming in!
