Prince William And kate middleton Has broken his silence after the latest batch of files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Last month, millions of files were released, containing even more revelations about celebrities, politicians and the royal family.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor featured again in the latest list of files. Their inclusions include email correspondence as well as images. He has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to the late financier. Furthermore, the mention in the files does not indicate any crime.
The Prince and Princess of Wales issued a statement
Ahead of Prince William’s arrival in Riyadh today for a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia, a spokesperson for the Prince and Princess of Wales commented on the Epstein files.
“I can confirm that the Prince and Princess are very concerned by the continuing revelations,” the spokesperson said, according to multiple outlets. “His thoughts remain focused on the victims.”
The statement concluded, “Her Majesty wishes to make clear that her thoughts and utmost sympathies are and remain with the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
This is the first time that the prince and princess have commented directly on the scandal. And his views match those of his fellow royals. Last week, Prince Edward also broke his silence on the Epstein files. A in his comment cnn Reporter, he also highlighted the importance of the victims.
However, perhaps the statements from William, Kate and Edward should come as no surprise. They reflect the announcement made by King Charles last year when he stripped Andrew of his remaining royal titles.
