Now, he will reportedly be released one and a half month before the original date, i.e. June 4, 2028. page six obtained details about the rapper’s legal battle and prison sentence exclusively from the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
In November last year, he made headlines for entering a drug abuse rehabilitation program. Reportedly, reducing his time in jail would be beneficial for him. Additionally, the outlet quoted Diddy’s representative, who addressed the relocation information at the time.
“Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the beginning. He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to making positive change,” they said in a statement.
While the music executive’s late sentence was commuted, the situation reversed in 2025. He allegedly violated prison rules; Hence, his release date was changed from May 8, 2028 to June 4, 2028. Some of the alleged rules he broke included consumption of “homemade alcohol” and “three-way phone calls”.
