The Summer House main cast was aware of all the issues between Amanda and Kyle. But freshmen Bailey Taylor and Levi Sebree listened to the entire fight without any context. Needless to say, they both felt “awkward” by Amanda and Kyle’s exchange.
Kyle and Amanda apologize to Summer House new cast members
During the most recent Summer House episode, a fight at the dinner table resulted in Kyle overturning his chair and becoming angry. The reason? Instead of apologizing in front of the entire group, Amanda wanted to make a sincere, private apology. This all stemmed from Amanda’s tendency to smoke marijuana before bed. Kyle complained about the smell and his habit, before later apologizing and then backtracking.
Bailey and Levi both told decisive She found the meal “awkward”, although Bailey praised the former couple for their “honesty” and “vulnerability”.
“The category is weird,” Levy explained. “I think that’s the best way to describe it because everyone wants to be calm and civil, but at the same time, it’s not a normal experience. It’s not normal, there are fights all the time.”
Bailey said, “I appreciated that they were being themselves. We’re all in a house together and we’re all living together for the summer, so it’s inevitable that things will happen and come up. So I appreciated the honesty and the vulnerability.”
Levy continued, “I also think they were both really trying to be respectful of other people in the house. But it was awkward. At times it was definitely awkward. But they were always thoughtful, like, ‘We’re so sorry if this is affecting your summer.'”
