On the Sirius XM program Lift, Susan once recalls that she “had a calcium blockage.” Suzanne says there was 90% blockage in the main artery and 75% blockage in the adjacent artery.

She further says that she is lucky that she was not alone at home at the time of the incident. If that were the case, doctors say she may have thought she just needed water and lay down. If she had done so, he believes she would not have woken up. “I avoided Widowmaker,” Susan said.

That horrific incident is one of the many topics he discusses in his recently released memoir. Last month, she teased that All My Children might be getting a reboot. That show is off air since 2013.

Death isn’t the only thing Suzanne and her famous character are famous for. The actress has missed out on several Daytime Emmys despite her name being on the shortlist year after year. During her time on All My Children, Susan earned 21 Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. He has won the award only once, in 1999.
