travis kels The Philadelphia Eagles had some thoughts on the 2025 season after the team’s disappointing playoff exit in the Wild Card Round. In the latest episode of New Heights PodcastThe Kansas Chiefs star reflected on the Eagles’ recent elimination, along with his older brother and former Eagles center, Jason Kelce.
Jason began, “Very disappointing game and season for the Eagles,” Kelce continued, “You could tell everyone in Philly was disappointed, man.”
Travis Kelce added, “It feels like there’s always something terrible happening there this year.” The star tight end added, “Last year it definitely wasn’t like that. Last year, it was Saquon, there was excitement, and everybody in the endzone was celebrating. People were running down the field to celebrate with each other.”
The future Hall of Famer addressed the Eagles’ recent loss against the San Francisco 49ers. “It felt like there was something wrong with this Eagles team this year. And unfortunately, it came down to the last game against the Niners.”
Travis’ comments come just days after Jason expressed his disappointment with the team following the January 12 game. But I am saying ESPN’s Monday Night CountdownThe former Eagles star said, “They had the No. 1, highest-paid offense in the league and they were mediocre across the board. It’s unacceptable.”

The Philadelphia Eagles lost 23–29 against the 49ers on their home field at Lincoln Financial Field. This caused the team to lose its spot in the 2025 postseason playoffs.
