Why Chris Hemsworth had to ‘bribe’ his daughter?

Chris Hemsworth revealed he had to bribe his daughter India Rose to film her scenes on the set of Avengers: Doomsday. His daughter Gore plays Love, the biological daughter of The God Butcher. In the film, Prem initially dies of hunger, which fuels his father’s mission to destroy all the gods. However, at the end of the film, she is resurrected after her father wishes for eternity and is then adopted by Thor.

Chris Hemsworth reveals he bribed his daughter for this very reason

On a recent episode of The View, Hemsworth revealed that he had to “bribe” India Rose to film her scenes as Love in Avengers: Doomsday. She revealed that she was young when she filmed Thor: Love and Thunder and that she is now a teenager, noting that she is 13 years old.

Describing her daughter getting tired of waiting to shoot, she revealed, “And she walks on set, and says, ‘Uh, how long will this take?’ I was like, ‘We haven’t even started yet!’ Then he mentioned that he shot the first take, and India immediately said, “Are we done?”

Hemsworth recalled that he explained to him that he still had two to three days of shooting to complete, which India was clearly not impressed by. He said that after learning about the long days of shooting, India had “this irritable, teenage attitude” and would just go to his tent and sit on a chair. So, he decided to bribe him to induce him to come to the set.

Bharat insisted that she not come, believing that she would not get paid for the role. However, Hemsworth clarified to her that she gets paid and saves the money for the project until she turns 18. Bharat was surprised, as she was unaware of this fact, and asked her father to give her some of it now.

Since the Russo brothers needed India on set, Hemsworth had no choice but to interact with his daughter. Hemsworth said, “She races motorbikes and rides motorbikes, and she says, ‘…Can I buy the motorbike I wanted? I said, ‘You probably can.’ So there was a little conversation and she left.” He also clarified that his daughter did not throw any tantrums on the sets.
