Dakota Johnson’s Plunging Chloe Lace Top Barely Hangs On By Just 2 Strings

Dakota Johnson displayed a modern romance aesthetic in a Chloé lace top that hung on her frame by two thin cords. The “Madame Web” actress wore the top in a “SNL” promo video in which she appeared with Ashley Padilla. The official Instagram page of the late-night show shared the video on September 30.

Dakota Johnson brings sultry vibes to SNL in Chloé lace-trimmed top hanging from strings

Dakota Johnson brought a sultry romantic atmosphere with a charming touch to the NBC studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in the heart of Manhattan. She wore a Chloé camisole top in soft, off-white satin fabric. The top features an attractive V-neckline adorned with delicate white lace trim that wraps along the neckline and down the front diagonal seam. Plus, ultra-thin spaghetti straps supported the soft silk fabric, providing an airy, lingerie-inspired silhouette.

Styled by Kate Young, the “Materialists” actress tucked the top into a Khaite leather skirt. This pairing gave her look some modernity. Made of smooth leather in a dark olive-brown color, the high-waisted mini skirt had a clean, minimal A-line cut that sat comfortably at her waist. This created a wonderful contrast to the liquid satin above.

Johnson wore a long Lariat Roberto Coin necklace that fell down her chest. It featured a thin chain and a tassel pendant, drawing attention to the lace-trimmed plunging neckline. She also wore a beautiful shining bracelet on one wrist. Her hands were adorned with several rings, one of which was made of coral-red stone.

She wore her hair in open, natural dark brown waves and had full fringe bangs on her forehead. Meanwhile, her makeup included matte complexion, hot pink blush, winged eyeliner and berry-pink lip shade. For her SNL monologue, she stepped out in a bright red latex Versace dress that hugged her bust. The piece was from the house’s Fall 2013 collection. She paired it with Roberto Coin jewellery.
