Thankfully, Brielle and Kim got to spend time together before Christmas. Additionally, Brielle is engaged to baseball player Billy Seidl. So, the couple planned to meet both their families. Apparently due to this, Kim could not see her daughter’s smiling face on Christmas day. Instead, Kim welcomed her daughter and future son-in-law before taking a vacation to celebrate.
Brielle wanted to spend Christmas outside Atlanta
In a video shared via her Instagram Story, Brielle explained the situation. “I love coming to my mom’s house for ‘Christmas,'” Brielle said as she and Billie cooked up a storm inside Kim’s kitchen in their new home. “We’ll leave tomorrow, and we’ll go for Christmas.” Apparently, Kim and Billie were going skiing in Colorado with Billie’s family. Then Kim exclaimed, “For the first time, ever!”
Hilariously, her mom’s comment confused Brielle. “This is not my first time here,” he said. “No, this isn’t your first time coming here for Christmas,” Kim replied.
“Oh yes. I’m not celebrating Christmas with my mom for the first time in 28 years. So, you’re lucky you’ve spent time with me for at least 28 years,” the Don’t Be Tardy alum responded. So, how did the family celebrate? With a delicious treat at home.
Further, Brielle added, “We’re making dinner. Homemade sausage, meatballs, Billy’s garlic bread is ready. And Kim just has to drink her wine.” Well, it looks totally on-brand.
Meanwhile, spending time with her family was probably a welcome respite for Kim. Before Christmas, former RHOA Peaches definitely received a new tax bill totaling $1.3 million.
