season 10 marked Nathan Gallagher’s Run as bosun on first Below Deck Mediterranean. As viewers watched, Nathan faced a steep learning curve once he boarded the ship. But thankfully, by the end of this season, he finally settled into his new position. Nonetheless, imagine our shock when the network completed filming in a way they had never done before. As seen at the end of episode 18, Nathan is returning for season 11.

Nathan realizes during filming how much he misses his crush Gail Cameron from Season 9. So, when the stars aligned to get Gail back into his life during Season 10, Nathan did everything he could to win her over. Fortunately his efforts were successful. So, after Nathan said goodbye to the cast and crew of Below Deck Med Season 10, he and Gail walked off into the sunset together, until, well, a screen appeared letting us all know that they were now a family of three.
To explain, after walking down the final ferry pier leaving Season 10, the screen in his rearview mirror went black. Then, the letter appeared, announcing, “11 months later.” In the next scene, the words “1 day before the new charter season” appeared. And then we saw Nathan at home brushing his teeth.
Just then Gail enters the room carrying her newborn son Kayden in her arms. And then, on Captain Sandy Yawn’s yacht, a van arrives to take Nathan back to his home away from home. Finally, leaning fully into this tease, the words “to be continued next season” filled the screen, letting us all know that Nathan will soon be returning for Below Deck Med season 11.
As far as Gail is concerned, she’s still living with Kayden, at least for now. After all, anything can happen during filming, as Season 10 proved.
