Mel Ottenberg (who has served as EIC since 2021) secured none other than Madonna Interview Magazine cover star through the summer 2026 issue. Shot by Nadia Lee Cohen and styled by Ottenberg herself, the shoot marks Madonna’s 10th shoot. Interview Cover story (the most of any star in the magazine’s 57-year history). Dressed in Gucci, the American icon has been transformed into “Dee Dee, a vivacious, hard-working broad woman with big hair, endless Prosecco and The Stooges”.
