Welcome back for the last time, below deck below below fan. Last week ended with another difficult situation, leaving Joao, Daisy, Jenna and Alessia to settle on Ben. This season was supposed to be a solid season with three experienced department heads. Will these HODs finally make peace on BDDU Season 4 Episode 18? Let’s find out.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 18?
Captain Jason calls his HODs together, and speaks to them sternly before their final charter. Speaking of, one of their visiting guests in Season 2 was almost thrown off the yacht. And this season, he’s been causing Ben and Ellie nothing but stress in the galley. After he and his friends leave, the crew says their final goodbyes, and BDDU Season 4 comes to an end.
call for ceasefire

After João briefs Daisy, she stands up and delivers a line worthy of a ovation. “The next time (Ben) goes and makes dinner for the charter guests, I’ll go in and eat it. Just ask him to make it again.” Shockingly, Ellie tells Barbie that “she would have been angry too.”
Ben and Joao sent a message to Captain Jason. But his texts contain a slightly different retelling. Ben types, “Hey Jason, just so you know Daisy tried to come on to me tonight, so I put myself in a guest bedroom to get away from the situation.” Meanwhile, Joao says, “Cap-Eye talked to Ben about sleeping in the pre-built guest cabin and it didn’t go over well. We should talk tomorrow.”
In the morning Captain Jason asks Ben what happened. “At dinner, Daisy… she yelled at me,” says Ben. “Plus, I was awake. In my opinion, they were roaming around, looking for drama and nonsense.”
“You can see why they got angry,” Captain Jason says gratefully. “They’ve got 24-hour turnover, and you’re sleeping in bed. Just put it on the chin,” he says. Ben replies, “Okay.”
As Ben heads to the galley, João and Daisy give Captain Jason a better account of the events. Again, Ellie remains on the right side of history, tearfully telling Ben, “You and I would be angry too if we had prepared the galley for charter and someone would have come in here and cooked and left all our stuff.” Still, Ben argues, he “wouldn’t start a world war over this.”
I’m not buying that. Regardless, Captain Jason calls his HODs together and demands, “Enough is enough.” Once again, he calls them all out, including Ben, for making a mess in the guest cabin, and then he asks them to “reset” their final charter.
galley struggles

Ben apologizes to Joao and later to Daisy. Daisy took him to task on many issues. Ben apologizes again, and they laugh, but then Joao runs out of the bathroom hysterically, and jokes that Ellie was also in the bathroom, creeping in on their chat (she wasn’t).
But she is waiting for Ben in the galley, wondering why he never promoted her. You still need to “prove” yourself, he says. Finally, the last charter guests come on board. Ben chats with returning Primarch Brandon and Patrick, one of his guests, and immediately realizes that they are “chatty”.
He is right. Lunch consists of “too many vegetables”. And even though Brandon asked for seafood, which Ben prepared, it still wasn’t what Brandon was “expecting.”
Captain Jason says, Brandon is a “pain in the butt”. Then, Captain Jason lays out a long list of Brandon’s favorite activities and foods, including ten different cakes for dinner. Ben cleverly ordered them.
In the morning, Ben makes Brandon a bagel, and Ellie calls Interior to deliver it, but her walkie-talkie transmits only static. Twenty-five minutes passed, and Ellie called again. Captain Jason came back on the radio and said that his words were inaudible. Daisy angrily walks into the galley, and Ellie immediately accuses her of not listening to the radio.
Daisy tells Ellie that she could have gone ahead, and no, you didn’t call us. Later, Ben prepares a seven-course dinner, but Patrick hates everything, so Ben makes some basic dishes for him. The guests dislike the timing of Pat’s dishes, and Pat hates the chunky peanut butter, but everything else goes well. In the end, the guests go to bed, leaving a disappointed Ben.
Goodbye, BDDU Season 4 Crew

Captain Jason lets Joao stand on the boat, and then Daisy heads to the wheelhouse. She wants to give Jenna her stripes back. Captain Jason allows this, because Jenna never stopped working hard after her punishment.
Jenna almost begins to cry, and then she returns to her previous position on the dock to say goodbye to her guests. Yes, Ellie rolls her eyes. At least their guests are thrilled. They leave the crew a massive tip of $34,500, bringing their total tips this season to $235,700.
The crew heads to a bar, and here, season-stealer Betul gives a touching speech, thanking Captain Jason and João for their support. Later, Alessia gives a beautiful speech of her own, apologizing to Jenna for her actions this season.
Betul is the first one to leave the next morning. Next, Jenna asks Alessia to co-parent her gay-pride plushie, and Ben pays Ellie $17 out of their honey pot. He also gives her his knife, and then, one by one, everyone leaves the yacht, happy and united, almost as if no drama has ever happened this season.
