Below Deck Season 13 Episode 3 Recap

welcome back, below deck Fans! Last week, Alex drowned on deck. Captain Carey is watching him, which is not a good sign so soon. Elsewhere, Fraser encourages Rainbeau to use his kind words, while Mo plays matchmaker for several boats. However, he has time for Below Deck Season 13 Episode 3 this week.

What happened in Below Deck Season 13 Episode 3?

A new charter group board, and their priorities… are a lot. It’s not an easy week for the interior team or the galley. Conditions on deck are just as bad. Alex makes even more mistakes, and now, all eyes are on him.

Kaylee wants Matt for more than one night, and Renee (correctly) calls James “eye candy”. She hugs James, which makes Rosa feel bad. Still no worries. Rosa plans to keep things professional.

Fraser gets tea from Kaylee after the night. She refuses to sleep with Matt. Fraser laughs. He doesn’t believe in him.

On deck, Alex and Matt are ready to leave, but Jessenia and James are running late. Following orders from Captain Kerry last week, Alex finally lays down the law. Later, he and Matt clean the deck, and Matt confesses that he slept with Kaylee. Inside, Kaylee, a lover of second chances with a sordid history of dating toxic men, points to a camera screen and jokingly calls Matt her boyfriend.

I feel very bad about both of them. James does the same. However, there is no time for love stories to go wrong. There’s a new charter group coming in, and they seem intense.

They have high standards, especially for the galley. Also, their preference sheets are… long AF. “It’s just satisfying, not in a good way,” Fraser sighs, favoring “a**hole” and (sarcastically) “true happiness”. Mo agrees.

Below, Matt makes things special with Kylie. In his confessional he says he doesn’t want to be a “f*ckboy” anymore. But at the same time, Kylie is the only girl he’s into.

The next morning, we learned something new about James. Sorry, Renbeau and Rosa. He likes a girl named Michelle very much.

To help out, Captain Carey is taking on extra work as his chef’s dishwasher. Moe fists him, grateful. However, when his provisions arrive, he feels the opposite; Several boxes have to be sent back, and amid the chaos, Mo almost sends the caviar back as well. Fraser saves the day and captures him, and Mo returns to the galley to prepare.

The deck team is also preparing. Alex has no experience with yacht slides. Captain Carey gives him some advice, but Alex interrupts. In return he gets a fair rebuke.

Guests arrive, and they are really interested in acroyoga. One of them, Jason Remmer, co-invented it. Yes, I saw him; This is true. Jason starts flying people around by placing them on his feet, much to Fraser’s horror.

Speaking of horror, Moe serves strawberries in his charcuterie platter, and a guest is allergic. Then their requests start coming. Someone wants something salty, even if Fraser serves them chips. Oh, and now some canned fish too.

Fraser sighs, “This guest is giving…hard. This is giving…Who hurt you?”

Outside, Matt takes the lead on the water slide, while Alex takes the lead on laziness. At least that’s what Matt thinks. Instead of leading, Alex chose to accompany the guests on a kayaking tour. Matt is still waiting for Alex to prove himself as their bosun.

Renbeau is adopting the English accent very well, but her table scenes are terrible. Fraser, with the help of an AI bot that appears to be playing a “No, you hang up first” game on his phone, takes charge. At her cabin, Renbue reminds herself not to take her dismissal personally.

Mo should probably give himself the same pep talk. it’s dinner time.

The guests love Fraser’s table, but nothing else. Fraser, who hates Renbeau’s new accent, lists several of his complaints on the whiteboard. However, he likes Moe’s king fish and sweets.

Roja remembers something. Melanie requests wine in her cabin for turndown. But Rosa kept it in Caroline’s cabin. So, around 1:15 a.m., Melanie drunkenly wanders into the galley looking for her red liquid sleeping aid, as well as her requested bowl of nuts and chips.

Rosa sticks to her guns, but with kindness. He thought the wine was for Caroline. She apologizes and offers to make things right. After this Melanie asks him for breakfast.

Rosa tries to figure out what kind of nuts and chips she wants, but Melanie storms off on her. Melanie believes they have already had this conversation. But no, Melanie spoke to Rainbeau, not to her, Rosa countered softly. “Okay,” says Melanie, and goes back to her cabin.

Rosa brings Melanie her nibbles and tells her to sleep well. But in the morning, Melanie took the step of letting me speak to her manager. First, she watches Jason fly Fraser around on the deck (Fraser loves it). Then, she tells Fraser that Rosa was horrible to her.

“Mmm, I can’t do anything,” Fraser says while talking. He trusts Rosa, not this drunken “witch”. Or his “bitches,” “turds,” and “a**hole” friends who ask for moonshine for breakfast.

Outside, Jessenia’s jet ski harness is lost in the ocean. Alex knows it has a bad effect on him. Certainly, Captain Kerry is satisfied. So upset that Alex is now “in the weeds”, meaning he can’t work this season.
