During RHOSLC Season 7 Episode 7, the ladies gathered for Heather Gay’s Jupiter Year party. The astrology-based event went from heaven to hell when Brittany’s actions started coming back to haunt her.
Most of the RHOSLC cast is at odds with Brittany, and she may be being ousted.
Mary Cosby’s tragic misadventure creates tension with Brittany
Mary Cosby was angry with Brittany because she took away the flower decorations from Marie’s event as well as the flowers Brittany brought. Brittany took the flowers to an “old people’s home.” Still, Mary was not impressed.
When Brittany asked to talk to her, Marie responded, “You have a stealing problem, and you steal. I don’t want you around me.”
“I thought you left them behind,” Brittany insisted. However, Mary was not accepting Brittany’s explanation. Additionally, Brittany told Mary that she “sent you flowers twice.”
Mary replied, “I’m going through something right now that’s very…and I don’t have time for you…your energy.” Marie is still mourning the death of her son, Robert Cosby, Jr. and Brittany’s reaction causes a major misunderstanding between her and Marie.
“It’s not a problem. I understand that,” Brittany replied as the women continued talking over each other. “What is not there?” asked Mary, surprised. “I sent you flowers twice and you never accepted them,” Brittany said.
“I’m not saying her grief isn’t a thing. Her grief is sacred, and I’ve obviously stepped into it,” Brittany said in her confessional. This is an understatement.
Braunwyn Newport calls out Brittany Bateman over home sale
Angie Katsanevas, who calls herself “The Truth Fairy,” decided to share some tea with Braunwyn Newport. She revealed that Brittany, who has a real estate license, did research on Braunwyn’s home which she recently sold. “She has to get access to my house comps and your deed. She’s telling everyone that your name is not on the deed, but Todd (Bradley)’s name is,” Angie shared.
At last, Braunwyn cleared up the mystery of who owned her house. “I’m not on the deed to that house. But I’m the trustee of everything that Todd and I have,” she explained, referencing her estranged husband.
When Angie asked Brittany why she was researching her and Braunwyn, Brittany said she was “professionally curious.”
Braunwyn responded, “You’re not professionally curious. You’re bored and acting childish.” Then, Ashley Quaye chimed in, “This is scary, Brittany.”
For some reason, Brittany pressed on. She added, “No, it’s not scary. I know a lot about you too.” Obviously, this is not a good look for Brittany.
Meredith Marks calls Brittany a “weird fuck” and breaks up
Last season, Meredith Marks reportedly scolded Brittany during a flight. However, no footage of this incident exists. Lisa Barlow supports Meredith, causing friction with Brittany and the rest of the cast. Additionally, Brittany also alleged that Meredith’s husband Seth Marks had a mistress.
At the party, Brittany approached Seth and greeted him. “I like you. You don’t have to like me,” she said. Soon after, he left for a previous engagement.
When Meredith returned to the party, she addressed Brittany. “You don’t have to worry about my marriage, sweetheart. And if you don’t have forgiveness for my husband then you shouldn’t talk to him. And you shouldn’t talk to me,” Meredith said.
She added, “You’re a total weirdo. Just stay away from me.” Well, there is a lot going on for this pairing.
Angie Katsanevas questions Brittany’s motives for visiting elderly people
During the previous episode, Angie saw Brittany taking Mary’s flowers to the old people’s home. Angie said, “I feel like she goes into rest homes, or visits elderly people who have one foot in the grave and one foot on a banana peel, and tries to get into their will.” Could his opinion of Brittany be any lower than this?
So, Angie brings up Mary’s stolen flowers. “I took her to an old people’s home. I can’t believe she came up with this,” said a stunned Brittany.
“Like, are you just hanging out in nursing homes hoping you’ll find their pension, or their will?” Angie asked.
For some reason, Brittany’s reaction was one of sadness, not anger. “I think it’s beautiful. And it really hurts me, like any other person… It’s something really special to me,” she explained. “I can’t believe this is being used as a weapon against me.”
Clearly, Brittany is out of touch with most of the RHOSLC cast. She will likely make amends with Braunwyn and Angie. However, Brittany’s misunderstanding with Mary cannot be fixed. As a result, Brittany has to climb a steep hill to get back into the good graces of these women.
