Throughout the animated music video, Duff performed Copperani Floral-Appliqué Asymmetrical Gown In almond-beige color. The sleek, sleeveless design features a round neckline, an asymmetric silhouette and delicate floral embellishments on the side. Its strategically placed side cutouts and draped “wet-look” fabric hugged her figure. Meanwhile, the side slit allowed for fluid movement as she relaxed on a red sofa and wandered into a colorful fantasy landscape.

The body-hugging weight cutout dress retailed for $1,658, though it’s currently available at retailers for about $552. The minimalist yet sculptural gown perfectly complements her surreal aesthetic without overshadowing the playful setting of the “Catastrophe” music video.

Duff kept her accessories understated, pairing the gown with a statement ring with a delicate chain detail, long silver-tone threader earrings and a slim chain bracelet. She wore her blonde hair loose and sleek with soft density. Meanwhile, her makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan chose pink blush, softly defined eyes, glowing skin, and pale pink lips that enhanced the ethereal mood.

Stylist Nilo Nori created the look for the music video. Meanwhile, hair stylist Barb Thompson, makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan and styling assistant Malcolm Smith helped bring the polished appearance to life.

Ahead of release, Duff teased the project InstagramWriting, “Matthew and I made a song for the new @catinthehatmovie.” Following its debut, he encouraged fans to stream the track and captioned his post, “Stream ‘Catastrophe’ everywhere!!”

Fans immediately took to the catchy tune, and comments flooded in, like, “This bop is pure catnip.” Conversely, others reminded viewers that the upbeat anthem was created specifically for the upcoming family film.
