Lawsuit claims a member of Kai Senate’s security team assaulted a man
According to documents reviewed by tmzKai Sennett is being sued by a plaintiff who has been identified dustin batistaJoe is also taking a man named Lamont Gilbert to court. Batista says the trouble started when he encountered the couple during New York’s Dominican Day Parade last year.
This should have been a routine incident, but it turned violent. Batista has alleged in the lawsuit gilbert, While working as Kai Sennett security, he was “hit, punched and attacked” at the event.
He says he did not provide any reason to the guards, adding that he “did not threaten, assault, provoke, consent to contact, or otherwise justify the attack.” According to him, the alleged beating happened without any warning.
Batista’s complaint divides the blame between two individuals. He is directly pursuing Gilbert over alleged assault and battery. He’s also targeting the Senate on the grounds of indirect liability and negligent hiring, essentially arguing that the streamer is responsible for anyone acting on its behalf.
So far, the Senate has remained silent on the allegations. TMZ reported that it contacted the Senate for comment but did not receive a response before publication. The case adds to the streamer’s preoccupation, although he has not faced any criminal charges in connection with the incident.
Currently, the case is in the hands of the courts, with Batista demanding both the guards and the streamer be held accountable.
