I can just be me.” Alcock continued, “I kept having these crazy dreams – this image of me at the bottom of a tsunami. Of course I’m scared.” The ‘House of the Dragon’ star further said, ‘Of course I want people to like me and the film.’

However, she felt that, ultimately, it got out of her control. The 25-year-old shared that at the age of 13, she was bypassed by talent agencies. “We struggled financially, so it really inspired me to be vocal,” Alcock said.

In such a situation, his mother became his source of inspiration. He said, “My mother instilled in me this blind belief: ‘If those idiots can do it, why can’t you?’ His words, not mine.” “That lit a fire under my ass,” the actor quipped.

Alcock also addressed directors such as Martin Scorsese in his criticism of the superhero genre. “Whenever there is a new wave, there will be criticism,” he said. He further added, “Not every film is for everyone. The beauty of art is that you can be selective about your tastes.”
