Last month, a friend of the Sussexes said they would not be spending Christmas with the royal family. Apart from this, he also raised the question as to how this arrangement became possible.
Another source told page six No matter where Markle and Harry decide to stay for Christmas, Doria is confirmed to be a part of their plans. “There’s a hierarchy and the king is the CEO, he’s the boss – he does what he says, so it’s better not to put yourself in any difficult situations,” she said, referring to why the Sussexes are better off being left out of royal family celebrations.
This update also comes as a source tells Closer Online Afflict Seemingly unhappy with Markle’s plans to visit America for Christmas. “Harry is very disappointed. In his mind, they could have brought Doria to their Cotswolds home and perhaps still invited her to see her father or (her late mother’s family) the Spencers as a backup. The insider noted that Harry tried his best to convince his wife to stay in the UK, but she didn’t want to sit back and wait for a royal invitation. She added, “It was the perfect excuse to book a flight back to America and ultimately Harry had no choice but to follow suit.”
