newbie Whitener Slagswolves has been a welcome contribution to Season 11 of southern charm. He has been friends with Shep Rose for a decade. However, Whitt has remained composed and stayed away from the drama caused by his friends.
The lawyer is not afraid to comment on the behavior of his fellow Southern charmers. He chose Molly O’Connell as the cast member he would “trust most in a mystery case”, while he slammed Sally Carson as the “most attention-hungry” woman. Oh, and Whitt chose Sally as a co-star that he would be “least surprised to learn about a partner cheating.” Ouch!
Whitner Slagsvoll reveals his family connection to Jimmy Buffett
During Season 11 Episode 10, Whitner opened up about her relationship with icon Jimmy Buffett. He invited the artists to stay at his family’s estate, Itchy Grass Farm. “My family undoubtedly has deep roots in the South, but just because we’ve been here a long time doesn’t mean we’re very traditional,” he said, explaining that he is the nephew of Jimmy’s widow, Jane Slagsvoll.
Recently, Whit was a guest on the Fan or Fanatic Podcast. Whitt said of his uncle, “He was larger than life; he had a huge impact and influence on my life. He lived his life bigger than anyone.”
Since Whit was “very close in age” to Jane and the rock legend’s young children, she remembered how they would “run and gun” during trips to Aspen and New York City. “we have some stories. Unimaginable, you know, all the traveling we did, after he passed away I realized it was a once-in-a-lifetime, life-changing experience,” Whitner said.
“Like, ‘Hey, come join us and do this amazing thing.’ It’s nice, going on safari for a couple of weeks to see the great migration.” He added, “It happened a lot throughout my life.”
However, the newbie reveals that Jimmy never made a margarita for him. Now this is just sad.
