Swift became the youngest woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 11. Kelce traveled from Kansas City to New York to celebrate one of the biggest milestones of his fiancée’s career. In a video shared on X, she gave Sombre a warm hug after her performance in honor of the pop icon.
The clip does not reveal what Kelce and Sombre said to each other backstage. However, they greeted each other with big smiles and hugged and shook hands several times. During her acceptance speech, the 36-year-old said, “Writing songs is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Not because it didn’t take effort; it definitely did.” He told that songwriting has always come naturally to him. “I went through hard lessons and a tremendous amount of trial and error and chaos and disaster.” Swift continued, “But for me, songwriting was the only thing that came naturally to me.”
