The image has reportedly been interpreted as a purposeful dig at the couple. In the image she was seen wearing a strange outfit, which consisted of a black sweater, red shorts, a fanny pack and an orange scarf.
Schumer posted the story while wedding rumors were making headlines, and the rehearsal dinner was reportedly scheduled for July 3. His adding “rehearsal dinner” in the caption shows a deliberate sarcasm.
The joke also reminded some fans of Schumer’s past comments about Swift. During 2016, the comedian took a dig at Swift’s Grammy outfit. She said, “Taylor, it’s not a thigh gap. It’s a thigh gap.” However, later, Schumer said she had no feud with the pop star and that the joke was not meant personally, according to The Daily Mail.
