Rosie also makes a temporary arrangement with Kelsey. Alicia also made peace with Liz. But Liz didn’t hold back about Jo-Ellen, and the two were nervous to see each other on the cast trip to Block Island.
What happened on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season 1 finale?
This week on Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 Episode 12, “The Fairy Tale Is Over”, the housewives celebrate the end of summer with a trip to Block Island. Jo-Ellen attempts to sabotage her relationships with both Liz and Rulla. As for the latter, Rulla tries to ignore all evidence of Brian’s ongoing affair. But the situation turns from bad to worse.
Can Liz and Jo-Ellen make amends?
Kelsey hopes that Liz’s love for Block Island will make her nice to Jo-Ellen. As they wait for the ferry, Liz is disappointed by Jo-Ellen’s warm greeting. Jo-Ellen wants to have a relationship with Liz, calling it “like an abusive relationship” and comparing Liz to her mother. As far as her other quirks are concerned, Joe—Allen doesn’t mind going on tour with Rulla—it’s fine. brian Who is the problem?
When they arrive, it is cold, and the tide is high and choppy. Hopefully this isn’t a bad omen.
Jo-Ellen pulls Liz aside and asks if they have a true friendship. Liz says yes. She thinks that both of them said things in their fight which they did not mean. However, Liz is mad that Jo-Ellen accused her of having a physical affair. Liz, it was on camera, we have the footage! But Liz revealed that she had repeatedly asked Jo-Ellen to take His hands off His For hours before that. In her case, Jo-Ellen was trying to console Liz.
First, they disagree about how to proceed. Liz asks to start over, but Jo-Ellen wants to go back to the way they were. But eventually they make out enthusiastically, with Liz taking him to the sand and humping him. Liz changes her tune in the confessional and says that she really misses her friend.
Can Rullah stop villainizing Jo-Ellen?
Regarding Jo-Ellen’s other feud, Rulla admitted that she wasn’t around much longer over the summer. She again questions Jo-Ellen’s intentions. If she had been a true friend, she would not have faced such information in any public event. Was this also directed at Rosie after last week? While talking, Rosie realizes that Rulla does not want to accept the truth. If He Has heard rumors about Rich, she would like to see proof, not live in denial.
Rosie revealed that Jo-Ellen Rulla knew about the video, and without hearing the details, she insisted it was fake. Alicia thought Brian would “blow his load” when he heard about it. “Blow his load like cum?” Jo-Ellen laughs.
At this point, Jo-Ellen’s main motivation is to prove that she is not a liar. Jo-Ellen becomes so angry at being blamed for Brian’s actions that she spills a glass in his confessional. Rulla asks if the other women can talk to Jo-Ellen for her, and she appropriately refuses—Rulla needs to do it herself. Rulla continues to tease that Brian is having an affair, as they reminisce about their first date at the hotel.
Will Billy propose his “storytelling” to Alicia?
Despite initially laughing it off, Billy comes to Alicia’s suggestion of proposing again. He first proposed when she was super pregnant and had bronchitis. He didn’t even get down on one knee. And his mucus was so bad that he needed a physalis. Not the fairy tale she had dreamed of.
At the hotel, Alicia is surprised when “a mermaid with her breasts out” knocks on the door and insists that Billy go down the stairs before her because he has anxiety about stairs since his mother once abandoned him. Outside, there are two chairs inside a heart made of candles and roses and on her chair is a bouquet of roses for Alicia.
She is surprised, as he never does anything romantic. It’s still weird and silly. The others cheer from their hotel rooms, Billy takes off his ring to propose again, which hurts, and when he gets down on one knee he has to put a napkin down to avoid getting grass stains on it. Alicia says yes, and assures him that she really likes him staying for so long, because a lot of other guys would like her to! Billy says it’s time to get married, but Alicia jokes that they should propose again every ten years, the way some people renew their vows.
When the others congratulate her, Alicia says she wants a “second ring” and Billy reminds her that’s what happens in weddings. Finally, Alicia starts dreaming about a wedding, saying she wants a white mermaid gown and Selina wants a pink one.
A much-needed one-on-one between Rulla and Jo-Allen
As the others celebrate the re-proposal, Jo-Ellen goes to Rula’s room to show her the video.
Rulla says he was unfairly rubbed over the way Jo-Ellen obtained her evidence. This was when she was “on my death bed” (I laughed) and she showed everyone instead of showing Rula first. Meanwhile, Gary calls out Brian for calling Jo-Ellen a liar. Brian almost immediately breaks down and admits that Jo-Ellen is not a liar and there is a video!
Rulla still refused to watch the video. She emphasizes how much it has hurt her throughout the summer, and that she just wants to move on from it. Jo-Ellen respects this and vows to let it go.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Last Supper
The proposal rekindles Alicia’s love for Billy. She calls him her “Greek Stallion” and emphasizes how much she loves him. Now she has to put his name on the house!!
Kelsey proposes a game based around questions written on shells. People can either answer it or move on to another table guest. Its beginning is fun. Alicia says her favorite moments were Mahal and her fight with Rosie. Kelsey praises everyone’s honesty at the mock banquet. Liz is asked to uncover a mystery. Everyone wants her to give it to Brian, but she chooses Jared. He goes into detail about his home state even when Liz is bored.
However, Rullah gets stuck into a question about the most embarrassing thing your spouse has done. She goes to Gary, who says that Jo-Ellen hasn’t embarrassed him. Kelsey is asked to name the biggest backstabber, but instead of choosing Rosie, she gives it to Rulla. While she admits she would have said Jo-Ellen earlier, Rulla now says she doesn’t feel the same way about anyone in the group. She’s optimistic for the future of the RHORI cast as friends… as long as they grow from her story.
Rulla breaks down
Brian makes a toast and thanks the group for making them the most popular pairing. When Rulla mentions her difficult times, she starts crying. Alicia assures him that no one is perfect, and Jo-Ellen knows this (Gary tells everyone to stop bringing his wife into this). Alicia encourages Jo-Ellen to tell Rulla that she got her back, but Jo-Ellen tells her that they talked about it before and they want to leave it at that. Rosie and Rich say that it is unfair to blame Jo-Ellen, as the only person to blame is Brian. Jo-Ellen really appreciates it. He and Rosie have come so far since the premiere!
Brian assures Rula that he loves her and that he is proud of her for putting aside her “ego” or rather her “pride” for the sake of her family. As Liz watches, she comments that Rulla should know this is still going on and should not consider it grounds for divorce.
Kelsey talks about the friend group getting together, citing her issues with Rosie. Speaking of which, Rosie’s house is currently 5000 square feet, and she’s still happily living with Rich, child-free. As for Kelsey, she now pays her own rent and has even learned to write checks.
Dolores did not appear in this episode, but she and Liz are still planning to release their menopause gummies. Liz’s stepdaughter is expecting a girl and is engaged at the time of the gender reveal.
Jo-Ellen is still working on her relationship with her mom… and is still in touch with Brian’s mistress. Alicia is running Pizza Momma and has a line of crackers. Jared still holding on to Audrey, I’m sure will give RHORI a boost! This means that he and Ashley are still “currently” residents of Rhode Island.
Then, we reach Rulla…
Why were the RHORI cameras withdrawn?
A month later, Brian was arrested for tracking Rula. Kelsey, Ashley, Alicia and Rosie visit Rulla, while Jo-Ellen visits Liz.
Rulla was skeptical and the BMW dealership told him that only the police could remove the tracker. That’s why Brian was arrested on domestic violence charges. She insists that he has never done anything physical to her. Jo-Ellen heard that the mistress had picked up Brian from the police station. She feels vindicated, and tries to message Rulla, who just replies “TY.”
Kelsey asks if any part of Rula wants to thank Jo-Ellen. Not necessary. Currently, Brianna is not allowed to go near Rulla or the house, but she insists that this has been blown out of proportion in the press. She thinks he was keeping an eye on her to know when she would stop by his office or drive by the mistress’s house. So, she believes that the case is still ongoing. Rosie explains how much Brian has hurt her. Whatever she does, the girls say they will support her. While Rulla ended the episode indecisive, we know she got him back.
The finale ends with a preview of the two-part reunion. Brian is in the hot seat, Jo-Ellen has the receipts, and when Rulla calls her a psychopath, she smiles and agrees.
