After their conflict in Mexico, Lala and Nia meet to try to resolve their issues. Nia revealed that she had a tumultuous childhood. Her father was married and divorced twice, and infidelity was also part of the equation. “Me and my mom, we were in shelters and we were hanging out at different people’s houses,” Nia said. “I was raised by my father.”

As for a future partner, Nia “wanted to choose someone who seemed stable and who loved me a lot. So, I think it’s the same with Daniel.” While their relationship seemed to be in better shape, Lala wasn’t looking forward to a close friendship with the mother of four.

Elsewhere, Kristen and Luke discuss his medical condition. “I could tell you weren’t super-vibey with him,” Kristen said, referring to her therapist. “Absolutely not,” Luke said. Take the example of Luke’s flashback in which he indicated that he would have been upset if he had not proposed. Also, Luke complained because the therapist asked him questions about his feelings. Gasp!

“I feel like I don’t know why you want me to get pregnant again if you hate me being pregnant,” Kristen said. Luke responded, “Get it out of the way so we can deal with it…so we can put pregnant Kristen to rest. Put her in a coffin.” How…gross.

Luke spoke up, saying, “I’m fighting for us…we still have the future we talked about.” “And I don’t know if we’re presented with the same picture now.” In her confessional, Kristen admitted, “I don’t know what to do with this information, and I just feel numb. And I pray and hope that we get to a better place.”

Finally, it’s time for Brittany’s Victorian Vampire Masquerade Halloween Party. Brittany went all out and the house looked amazing.

Janet, Michelle and Lala gathered together at the party. Naturally, Lala spills the beans about Jack talking behind Janet’s back. “He’s acting like we’re moving in,” Janet said. Then, Lala reveals that Kristen said Nia blamed Jack.

As if on cue, Jack and Brittany entered the room. Janet mentioned how she thought they were moving on, but Kristen’s comments at Brittany’s photo shoot indicated otherwise. “It feels like Kristen is throwing you under the bus to try to keep you and me from being friends,” Janet said. Jack wanted to bring Kristen into the discussion, but instead, Jesse walked in. Once again, Janet is gone.

“Like, Jack just needs his wife. But the thing is, Jack secretly likes me,” Janet said in her confessional. “And he’s struggling with it because Nia and Kristen won’t let him like me.”

Next, Jesse confronts Michelle. “So, it has come to my attention that for the last three months, you have actually been secretly dating a comedian,” he said. “He’s my client,” Mitchell replied, referring to Max Amini. In the previous episode, she had shared that she was going on her first date with the comedian.

Subsequently, Jesse claimed that Michelle had asked him to take care of Isabella while she went to “Las Vegas for work.” She said she was sent photos of the two of them in bathing suits. Then, Jessie commented, “I’m also told you introduced him to Isabella.”

“Don’t do that,” Michelle replied. “You are lying right now.” In her talkative mind, Michelle said, “The reality is, I was showing houses, and she met him.”

However, Jesse wasn’t finished berating Michelle. “You took our daughter to the house of a boy who left you. Now you are introducing Isabella to another boy.”

After Michelle leaves, Jasmine tries to support her friend. Jessie claimed that Michelle was secretly dating Max and that Isabella had told her that “she has met this guy.”

“I saw my daughter crying about Aaron (Nosler), and I’m so angry,” Jessie told Jasmine. “If another man comes into my life, there will be big problems. There will be big custody problems,” she said.

In the kitchen, Nia asks Danny if he is “drunk” and he denies it. Then, Jason, on crutches, followed a woman he thought was Janet. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t his wife. “Oh, sorry! I thought you were my wife. Oh my God!” He shouted. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be creepy.” The woman laughed it off. However, Jack commented, “Looks like you made a mistake.”

Jack chose a side in The Valley

After this, Jasmine approaches Michelle about secretly dating Max. When Michelle denied this, Jasmine said, “Don’t be mad at me. I’m just repeating what I heard, baby.” Michelle explains that when Isabella was with her she pointed out a building, as Jesse has done in the past. “You’re just hearing Jesse’s side,” Janet commented.

“I listened to him because he was crying for me. He’s so emotional…,” Jasmine began. “So what difference does it make?” Michelle’s friend Natalie intervenes. When Jasmine advised Natalie to “calm down”, Michelle responded that Natalie was defending her. Jasmine responded, “I’m behind Jesse right now because he feels like one.”

The fight between Jasmine and Natalie escalated and Jasmine called her a “b*tch”. As Michelle came between them, Natalie responded, “You’re trash.”

Later, Nia pulls Jack aside to talk to… who else? Janet! According to Lala, Kristen claimed that Nia was flirting with Jack. Jack said, “If anyone’s gonna mess with anyone, it’s me.” Jack said, and Nia agreed. Kristen reached out and cut down her guilt trip comment.

Then, Brittany arrived. “It wasn’t that you manipulated Zack. It was that you were the one who made Zack feel bad for being friends with Janet,” Brittany began. Naturally, Kristen denied that part of the conversation, which was filmed.

“Brittany, I trust her,” Jack said of Kristen. “Do you trust me and Lala together?” Brittany asked. “Yes,” she replied, shocking Brittany.

“Jack and I have been best friends for over 18 years,” Brittany said in her confessional. “And you’re going to immediately believe me over Kristen and Nia?”

Once Lala arrived, our Kentucky muffin tried to set the record straight. “So, you said it’s Nia who makes Jack feel guilty,” Lala began. “No, she said it,” Kristen said, pointing at Brittany. “I never in my life said Nia blames Jack.”

In her confessional, Kristen tried to explain herself. “Did I mention Nia flirts with Jack? Yes,” she said. Kristen said that Nia was kind of teasing Jack and that it’s not “real manipulation.”

Meanwhile, Danny is flopping down on a couch in the pool house. Jason approached because he needed a place to rest his leg. Jason brought up the “mean sh*t” that Danny said to Lala during a trip to Mexico. Of course, Janet went with Lala for backup. At first, Danny denied making any comments about Lala not being a husband.

When Janet suggested he apologize, he retorted, “I can never listen to you or talk to you if you’ve never apologized for anything you’ve ever done in your life.” Janet asked, “You think the words I said about you were false?”

“One hundred percent,” Danny said. “You haven’t made any changes in life. This is going to happen again,” Jason said. When Danny asked if Jason ever “blacked out”, Janet replied, “He never grabbed women’s ass.” Danny replied, “He doesn’t know.” Oops.

“Let it go. He’s not your problem,” Lala advised his friend. Eventually, after some prompting from Lala, Danny apologizes, saying “You should go back to your husband”.

Janet exclaimed, “Is that it?” And Danny pointed the finger at Janet. “Danny, keep your finger away,” Jason said. “What are you going to do with your bum leg?” Danny replied.

“I’ll still fuck your ass,” Jason said as Janet threw a cup of wine at Danny. The plastic cup hit his face. As Danny quickly walked away, Lala said, “I don’t like that you did that.”

Janet responded, “I don’t care.” Then Danny walked over to Nia and Jack. “They threw the drink in my face,” he announced.

Nia unites Kristen and Jasmine, saying that her husband was drunk, courtesy of Janet. Kristen suggests Janet go. “Go call Brittany and tell her to let me go,” Janet said.

Meanwhile, Nia tells Danny, “We need to leave. Why would we stay around horrible humans?” Therefore, he decided to depart.

In his confessional, Jack talks a lot about Janet. “Let’s put it this way. If Janet wasn’t here, it would be a completely different dynamic,” he said.

Meanwhile, Janet said during their conversation that she “could be cordial with Kristen and Jack if they stopped drinking the Kool-Aid. I’m cool with people we’re not friends with.”
